LAHORE: Authorities have imposed one-month ban on motorcycle riding in the Frontier Region Bannu due to security reasons.
The ban has been imposed under the Section 144 (6) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
The decision of imposing ban on motorcycle riding was made following an attack on a military vehicle, in North Waziristan, in which six people including three military recruits were killed.
An improvised explosive device (IED) was fitted in a motorcycle, which was later exploded when the army convey passed through it.
According to the authorities, a strict action will be taken against those who will violate the ban.
