LAHORE: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Punjab on Thursday night foiled a smuggling bid at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
During an operation, ANF Punjab raided the cargo terminal of Lahore airport over a confidential tip.
According to ANF, during the operation heroin worth hundreds of thousands of rupees was seized. The contraband was concealed inside a bedsheet packing.
ANF officials said that the contraband was likely to be sent to London, Britain.
